missingWrote a review on 07 Marroom maintenance
The room lacked proper upkeep, showing significant water damage and even growing mushrooms in the shower area. Breakfast had to be pre-ordered the day before, limiting flexibility in the morning. Checking in was chaotic-no reception was visible, and receiving a room with two single beds instead of the booked double felt disorganized.

Good-sized and nicely furnished rooms!
Easy to get to, ideal location not far from Thurso railway station and town centre and the art gallery and the Highlands. Exceptionally good view, delicious and excellent breakfast options with good quality ingredients and fresh eggs.

The historic charm of the Manor House caught my attention immediately. The lamb curry served in the restaurant blew me away-it was super flavorful! Especially the owners, exhibited kindness. The building was surrounded by scaffolding, which I wasn't aware of prior to my stay. The room itself felt very cramped and could really use some TLC. It was difficult to use the toilet with the odd sink combination. The TV was non-functional, and when I reported it, the manager's response was underwhelming and somewhat rude. While the food was amazing, improvements in room maintenance and guest communication are definitely needed.

The room was fashionable with good facilities, a new eco toilet which is a sink above a toilet, as for instance for a VERY NICE stay. Actually everything was nice, my next choice again in Thurso.

Central location, within a close distance from Thurso Bay. A double room with very comfortable beds.

missingWrote a review on 24 Novconvenient locationcramped roompoorly designed bathroom
The location was convenient for the bus and train station.
The room we stayed in was cramped and had a distinct lack of surfaces for our belongings, challenging to feel comfortable. The bathroom was poorly designed, and cleanliness seemed to be overlooked as we noticed some dust and residue. It felt more like an outdated hotel than a cute stay.

Solo traveler must-visit
The cooked breakfast was delicious, they even had soya milk for my morning coffee, a nice touch.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly, but still reasonable.

Spacious room with a great river view. Small bathroom felt cramped, typical for older buildings. Perfect for ferry to Orkney.
